Ekaterina Voronina, ex-CEO of the Vedomosti newspaper in St. Petersburg, will become the Executive Director of the Endowment Fund of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU).
“First of all, on behalf of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University and the Endowment Fund I lead, I would like to express my gratitude to our trustees and partners for their support and cooperation! My main goal as Executive Director of the GSOM Endowment Fund is to ensure the sustainable development of GSOM SPbU and support of some projects and areas selected by GSOM Advisory Board and the management of the Business school through building long-term trusting relationships with partners. The key principles of the Fund's work should be transparency and openness both in the formation of reports and in decision-making,” said Ekaterina Voronina.
Ekaterina Voronina participated in the launch of the newspaper Vedomosti, published jointly with the Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal. From 2015 to 2020, she worked as the CEO of the Ntspaper in St. Petersburg. In 2017, in partnership with GSOM SPbU, the project “Corporate Social Responsibility: Practices of Russian Regions” was implemented on the Vedomosti platform. The project has become an annual platform for interaction between business, government, universities and NGOs.
