The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) received a gift from Vladimir Yevtushenkov, a member of GSOM Advisary Board - Chairman of the Board of Directors of AFK Sistema, a collection of books that will be donated to the M. Gorky Scientific Library of St. Petersburg State University and students of the Business School who will show high results in educational and extracurricular activities.
The collection consists of a series of popular science books on technologies that are changing society, the economy and the environment - "The Great Convergence: Information Technologies and New Globalization" by Richard Baldwin, "What is the Future" by John Urry, "Invented in Russia" by Tim Korenko and "Radical Technologies: the Design of Everyday Life” by Adam Greenfield.
The literature was first translated and published in Russian as part of the joint project "Book Collection" of the Sistema Charitable Foundation and the publishing house "Delo". The project became part of the educational initiative of the operator of social investments, AFK Sistema, aimed at developing human capital in the technological environment and popularizing knowledge about new technologies.

The combination of classical research with popular science publications provides an opportunity for students and faculty to comprehensively master the problems of technological development of society. We very much appreciate the long-term productive cooperation with the trustee companies of GSOM SPbU and are grateful to AFK Sistema for its contribution to the development of the Business School,” said Yulia Muleva, Head of the Library.
AFK Sistema has been a member of GSOM Advisory Board since 2007. Experts of the corporation become speakers of guest lectures and events of the Business School - Management of the Future, GSOM Family Day, etc. In autumn 2020, the joint educational program Management Essentials: School of Practical Management was launched for the employees of Sistema JSFC and its companies.
