The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) together with the University at 20.35 launched open lectures programs on "soft skills" for participants in the "Modern Manager" Olympiad and all schoolchildren wishing to get acquainted with the professions in the field of management. The materials are collected on the basis of the Steps University 20.35 educational collection service.
“The launch of open lectures programs in conjunction with the University at 20.35 will allow high school students not only to get acquainted with management, to decide on the choice of a profession, but also to apply the knowledge gained in any activity, regardless of the chosen direction of study. We will be glad to see among participants in the Olympiad schoolchildren focused on building a career, having leadership potential and dreaming of becoming the business elite of the future,” said Tatiana Klemina, Academic Director of the Bachelor's Program in Management.

The service of educational selections, on the basis of which the online lecture hall is held, is a platform where expert materials are collected on current digital professions and competencies: end-to-end technologies, project management, marketing, soft skills development, etc. All users registered on the University platform 20.35 can create collections of educational content (courses, lectures, articles, books).
The Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg State University, is holding the qualifying round of the Modern Manager Olympiad in partnership with the University at 20.35.
“University 20.35 provides its platform and selection tools for the first stage of the Modern Manager Olympiad for schoolchildren 10-11 year in the format of diagnostics of behavioral characteristics, cognitive skills and knowledge. This makes it possible to select talented applicants not only on the basis of their intelligence, but also taking into account their personal characteristics," said Tatiana Khrustaleva, Head of the Pedagogical Design, Collection and Interpretation of the Digital Footprint service at the University 2035.
For applicants to the Business School, participation in the Olympiad is an opportunity to receive an additional 5 points upon admission to GSOM SPbU Bachelor programs in 2021, having overcome the qualifying round and solving business cases stages.
In the track, which will last until November 21, more than 30 teams will take part with projects at the idea stage, as well as with prototypes.
Archipelago 20.35 — command educational intensive course for project developers in the field of machine learning, data analysis and artificial intelligent. It is organized by University 20.35, ASI and ANO "Platform for Handling Entrepreneurs' Appeals". Pursuant to the preliminary selection, about 1000 best teams will be able to take part in the intensive course from 7 to 22 November. Participants in the programme — students, IT specialists, entrepreneurs and students of secondary educational institutions. They will be able to present their own developments and solutions in the field of machine learning and data analysis. For participation projects at all stages of development were invited: from the idea to those who already actively implements sales on the market. More details can be found on the project's web-site.
