The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) has received a grant from Mail.ru for cloud services to create a digital educational environment as part of the implementation of the Business School's Development Strategy until 2025. Mail.ru will support the creation of an infrastructure with user-friendly applications and services managed by a single cloud platform.
“One of the tasks of GSOM SPbU as part of the strategy implementation is to create a convenient and modern digital educational environment. Thanks to the experience of Mail.ru, we will be able to develop a training infrastructure that meets the challenges and needs of today's world, where IT is no longer a way to stand out, but a necessary development tool. Future leaders must be educated in a cutting-edge environment, interact with big data, digital assistants, know what information security is, and much more. We trust in this matter the professionals in the Russian market, a company whose decisions we have no doubt about,” said Olga Dergunova, Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank, Director of GSOM SPbU.
Cooperation with Mail.ru involves the introduction of digital products, including the creation of corporate social infrastructure — social networks, chatbots and digital assistants, big data management, the use of artificial intelligence and the implementation of technological solutions in corporate communication and the protection of information, for example, when communicating through instant messengers and mail, and much more.
In the future, it is planned to jointly test new technologies, organize and participate in scientific and practical forums, conferences, seminars in the field of IT and innovation.
