Alina Perekatova, a student of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU), received a grant from the Committee on Science and Higher Education for high-quality scientific research.
A student of Master in Urban Management and Developmentsubmitted for the competition the work Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment Using Territory Zoning Based on Social and Economic Indicators. The academic advisor was Ekaterina Sokolova, Associate Professor of the Department of State and Municipal Administration, Academic Director of the Master in Urban Management and Development program.
The purpose of the Committee on Science and Higher Education grant competition is the development of scientific activities of young people. The competition is held in the following areas: humanities; natural and exact sciences; technical science; medical sciences; culture and art. Research is assessed according to the degree of scientific novelty, the significance of the project result for St. Petersburg, the possibility of implementing the research in practice, the consistency of presentation and other criteria.
