Alina Perekatova, a student of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU), has received a grant from the Committee on Science and Higher Education for high-quality scientific research.
Alina, a student of the Master in Urban Management and Development Program submitted her the work Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment Using Territory Zoning Based on Social and Economic Indicators for competition. The academic advisor was Ekaterina Sokolova, Associate Professor of the Department of State and Municipal Administration, Academic Director of the Master in Urban Management and Development program.
The purpose of the Committee on Science and Higher Education grant competition is the development of research activity by young people. The competition is held in the following areas: humanities; natural and exact sciences; technical science; medical sciences; culture and art. Research is assessed according to the degree of academic innovation, the significance of the project results for St. Petersburg, the possibility of implementing the research in practice, and the consistency of presentation and other criteria.
