Konstantin Krotov, Head of School, the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU), was named the most effective leader in the field of Business Education according to Kommersant.

 

 

This honor was shared with Olga Parfenova, Head of the Regional Office of the International Coaching Federation (ICF Russia Chapter) in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. 

 

The leaders of higher educational institutions of the city and the region took part in the voting. Among them there are General Director and Managing Partner of the AMI business school Irina Voronina, the Vice-rector for additional vocational education, Director of the Institute of Continuing Professional Education - Higher School of Economics, St. Petersburg State University of Economics Yana Klementovichus, President of the Stockholm School of Economics in Russia Anders Paalzov, Director of the Open School of Business Sergey Fedorov, Dean of the Faculty of International Industrial Management and Communications of BSTU "Voenmech" Alexey Shmatko, Campus Director of the Higher School of Economics - St. Petersburg Sergey Kadochnikov, Rector of the IMISP Business School Yaroslav Pavlov and Irina Petrova, Dean of the Faculty of Continuing Professional Education of the Anatoly Sobchak International Banking Institute.

 

Top Managers of the Year is a ranking of the most successful St. Petersburg leaders in the main sectors of the city's economy at the end of the year.

 

This year Kommersant reviewed more than 20 competitive sectors of the economy of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region and interviewed over 300 Heads of leading companies in the region. Every year the publication provides an opportunity for businessmen to choose the best top managers in their field and analyzes the results of this vote. The initial pool of nominees is determined by the editors of Kommersant-SPb, on the basis of the candidates proposed by the respondents of earlier polls.
