Dmitry Ilyin, Deputy Head of the Center for Robotic Surgery at the City Mariinsky Hospital is Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University Petersburg (GSOM SPbU) HealthCare Management program alumnus of 2020. The project is dedicated to the "Development Strategy of the Center for Robotic Surgery of the St. Petersburg State Budgetary Healthcare Institution City Mariinsky Hospital", Olga Verkhovskaya, Associate Professor of the Department of Strategic and International Management, acted as the Scientific Advisor.
“We especially respect the fact that Dmitry studied on the program and worked on the project in parallel with work with coronavirus patients, including in the “red zone”. I would like to wish that the project that promises the residents of St. Petersburg and the guests of our city to preserve their health and improve the quality of life will be carried out on the planned scale or even more ambitious,” said Andrey Ivanov, Head of the Healthcare Management program.
The project is dedicated to increasing the volume and improving the quality of robotic surgery services, primarily for residents of St. Petersburg, both for compulsory medical insurance and on a paid basis. The faculty of GSOM SPbU will assist in the implementation of the project.
The Healthcare Management Presidential Program has been implemented at GSOM SPbU since 2015. In 2021, a new professional development program for heads of medical institutions was launched. It will be devoted to using the value chain in the strategic planning of the clinic's activities. The course is taught by experts from the Business School and current practitioners, heads of leading medical institutions in Russia. The presentation of the program will take place on January 15, 2021.
GSOM SPbU Healthcare Management program is the only Russian educational program of management and innovation in healthcare that has international certification at the level of recognized world leaders in this field. The next launch of the program is scheduled for February 1, 2021.
