On June 25, 2021, the Peterhof golf club hosted a traditional summer meeting of alumni and students of the MBA and Executive MBA programs "Terracotta Sails" of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU).

“Terracotta sails” is a long-standing tradition. This time the event brought together 80 alumni and program students — Heads and Top Managers of companies from various business areas of St. Petersburg, Moscow, Ufa, Krasnodar and Chelyabinsk. The goal is to get to know each other and communicate informally.

The meeting took place in the Peterhof golf club — a life & sport space next to the suburban campus of GSOM SPbU Mikhailovskaya Dacha, which made it possible to combine business and friendly communication with sports and outdoor recreation.

As a part of the meeting, the traditional ceremony of dedication of this year's alumni to members of the business family of GSOM SPbU took place. Ceremonial tying of terracotta ties always leaves vivid memories of graduation and summer holiday.

Elena Streltsova, MBA-2001 alumna, the CEO of the "Ryady" Wholesale Club (St. Petersburg), noted at the end of the event: “It is very nice meeting people with common values twice a year. It is interesting to know who breathes what, to be happy for friends, to switch from routine and remember the time of study, because it is always pleasant memories”.

Alexander Isaev, alumnus of EMBA 2019, Head of the Federal Regional Center SberLogistics (Ufa) emphasized: The event was organized at a very high — no matter how pompous it may sound, at an elite level. I really appreciate the meetings of GSOM SPbU alumni, I always see old friends here and find new ones, this also helps in establishing partnerships. I flew, I fly and I will fly to meetings at my native Business School!”
