The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) held a Finance Fair event in the beginning of April. It will now become a regular event to attract employers to the Business School's Master programs.

 

A series of meetups and workshops on career development in finance presented by business practitioners were held with the support of the Career Center, IB Club and the working group for the update of the Master in Corporate Finance (MCF) program at GSOM SPbU.

 

Experts from all over the world spoke to the students of the Business School: from New York and Amsterdam to St. Petersburg and Moscow. They represented Tesla, VTB Bank, Revolut, Polyus, Citi, Otkritie Bank, Wabtec, TsMF and other companies. The speakers shared their experience in building a successful career for financiers; explained how to solve the problems which graduates might face at interviews in investment banks; how to find a balance between work and personal life, as well as how to make career promotions a regular event in their lives. The most active participants received individual career advice from experts.

 

The Finance Fair will become a traditional Business School event designed to attract potential employers to the Master programs.

 

On April 24, GSOM SPbU will host a Master programs presentation. The MCF update team will tell future students about program reboots and major changes.
