Leonid Vasiliev, Director of Executive Education Programs office at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) spoke at the 5th St. Petersburg International Labor Forum about the MBA, Executive MBA (EMBA) and corporate programs which have been implemented at St. Petersburg University since 2000.

In his speech, the speaker presented the Executive MBA for top managers, the MBA for mid-level managers and professional retraining programs for new managers and other personnel. The business school cooperates in this type of activity with large corporations, including VTB Bank, PJSC NK Rosneft, Russian Railways, Sberbank, Gazprom and others. 

“GSOM SPbU is routinely included in the international rankings of business schools and currently holds accreditation from both EQUIS and AMBA. In 2020, the Executive MBA program was ranked among the top 100 of the world's best programs in the QS Executive MBA Rankings for the first time, ranking third in the world in terms of group profile (positions in companies and management experience). For us this is not a goal in itself but rather recognition that we are moving in the right direction, and that the programs that we develop are really important for our clients, the market and the development of the entire Russian business education sector, ” emphasized Leonid Vasiliev.

In 2021, GSOM SPbU, together with the online university Skillbox, are launching a joint project that will allow managers and top managers to undergo a  flexible blended learning program combining the principles of classical education and new technologies.
