On June 3, at 10:00 (the “PIEF Junior” forum) the “Business and University: Which education the economy requires today?” (available in Russian only) discussion participants with the support of GSOM SPbU will try to answer the question — “How to unite goals of universities and companies-employers?” Universities are interested in the training of demanded alumni so that they find a job faster, preferably in their specialty, and quickly grow up the career ladder. Many rankings of higher education take the success of alumni into account. At the same time companies are interested in trained specialists who adapt to a job quickly. Its tasks include the orientation of university alumni at the stage of entering the labor market.
