On June 10, 2021, as part of the GSOM Ambassadors project of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), the first online meeting of GSOM Family Germany took place. 20 alumni of the Business School programs and students planning to move to this country discussed potentially interesting forms of interaction within the community.

The alumni talked about their career after graduating from GSOM SPbU, how they decided to stay in Germany, in which company and in what position they work. In the second part of the meeting, the participants divided into mini-groups and discussed ways of developing the GSOM Family Germany community in the future, made a list of proposals for joint online and offline activities.

Among the ideas there is the organization of GSOM Family Day in Germany in parallel with the global meeting of Business School alumni, which is traditionally held in September at the Mikhailovskaya Dacha campus.

Germany is the country most often chosen by GSOM SPbU alumni to build their professional career or further study in Europe. Currently, more than 100 Business school's alumni live and work in Germany. There are 54 participants in a special telegram chat.
