On June 9 (Wednesday) an online event for the applicants to SPbU will take place. The broadcasting starts at 19:00. You should be registered on the official website of the University to join the viewing.

The main agenda for the event covers the changes in the rules of admission in 2021/22 (available in Russian only).The changes refer to the Bachelor, Specialty, Master, and Doctoral programs. The document is published on the page of SPbU Selection Committee (available in Russian only).

The speakers will be Alexander Babich, Deputy Senior Vice-Rector for Academic Activities and Teaching Methods at St Petersburg University, and Alexander Shurkhudyan, Head of Directorate of Admissions. Besides the main topic, they will also tell about the benefits of studying and for admission to SPbU and answer the questions of the audience (during the broadcast there will be a chat box where questions can be placed).

Also, the participants of the broadcast will become familiar with useful materials: the catalogue of educational programs, information on the rules and procedures for admission, additional programs to prepare for the Unified State Exam, online courses as well as SPbU olympiads, and extracurricular activities.

An online tour of St. Petersburg State University will acquaint you with the unique historical buildings and locations of the University, including the building of the Twelve Colleges and the Philological Courtyard, the D. I. Mendeleev Museum-Archive, the Botanical Garden, the Herbarium of St. Petersburg State University, V. V. Nabokov Museum, Mineralogical and Paleontological museums, Kelch's mansion and other places.
