On June 21, 2021, GSOM SPbU launched the Leadership Academy Executive education Program for GC Lanit.
“I am grateful to my colleagues for a detailed and deep approach to the development of the program: we have been preparing it for about a year. The team of the GC Lanit very carefully approached the selection of listeners. This is important: both the result of your training and the effectiveness of our program depend on who will be in the audience, how meaningful the exchange of experience, skills and ideas will be. I urge you not to look for common solutions, choose only your own trajectory and your personal professional path. And we will help you with this,” said Leonid Vasiliev, Director of Continuing Professional Education Programs at GSOM SPbU in his welcome speech.
The course is intended for directors and deputy directors of departments, heads of departments of the company. The goal is to form and develop the managerial competencies of students, allowing them to realize the potential of leadership at the highest level of the organizational hierarchy.
“Getting knowledge in the classroom is only half of the educational process. The second part is what you can acquire in communication with each other, through personal and group work. I wish you that this path was interesting, useful and fruitful,” said Olga Verkhovskaya, Academic Program Manager, Associate Professor of the Department of Strategic and International Management of the Business School.
Education will be held in a mixed format: two full-time modules in St. Petersburg and Moscow and four online ones. The Leadership Academy includes five main areas: finance, leadership, transformation, business simulation, marketing and innovation.
At the end of the program, listeners will have to defend group projects in which they will present solutions to the company's current strategic problems. Teams will diagnose, identify challenges, and make their own recommendations. Each group is assigned a consultant and curator from among the top managers of Lanit Group of Companies.
