The Executive MBA program of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) and the Graduate School of Business Almaty Management University (GSB AlmaU) ranked 22nd among the joint programs of the international QS Executive MBA Rankings 2021: Joint Programmes. The educational product of the two leading business schools of the CIS countries was noted in the QS ranking for the first time.
All business schools in the ranking have at least one of the triple crown accreditations. The first positions in the list were taken by the joint programs TRIUM (Higher Business School of Paris, France; London School of Economics, Great Britain; New York University, USA), EMBA-Global Americas & Europe (London Business School, Great Britain; Columbia University Business School, New York, USA) and Kellogg / HKUST (Kellogg School of Management, Chicago / Miami, USA, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong).
The joint program of GSOM SPbU and GSB AlmaU Executive MBA "Strategic Management and Leadership" is developed for managers and owners of companies and is aimed at improving their leadership skills and managerial competencies. In January 2021, students of the third cohort started their education: managers from various business sectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan: telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas production, hotel business and others.
The GSOM SPbU and GSB AlmaU program ranked second in the world according to the Executive Profile criterion — all students have extensive experience in management positions, including as senior managers.
Representatives of both Business Schools highly appreciate the results of cooperation.

In the QS Global Executive MBA 2021, the GSOM SPbU Executive MBA program was ranked 111-120 out of 176 EMBA programs from around the world, on a par with Sydney Business School (University of Wollongong, Australia), Albert University Business School (Canada) and Business school of the city of Ren (France).
The British company Quacquarelli Symonds is the compiler of one of the most prestigious university rankings in the world. The QS Global Executive MBA has been compiled since 2017.
