Anastasia Laskovaya, Associate Professor of the Department of Strategic and International Management, Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), researcher at the Center for Entrepreneurship and tracker of technology startups, delivered a lecture during the project and educational intensive Archipelago 2121.
Lecture Segmentation of the target audience. Working with target markets became part of the Neurotechnologies and Artificial Intelligence track from the GenerationS accelerator. In the context of it, Anastasia Laskovaya also acts as an expert on the industry topic "Market".
The GSOM SPbU teacher discussed with the participants how to determine the specialization of a startup, how the client-oriented approach differs from the product-oriented one, ways of identifying the target audience and segmentation, approaches to market analysis in anticipation of entering it with a project.
Anastasia Laskovaya notes: “The topic of market assessment is annually of interest to start-up entrepreneurs. Many people face difficulties in calculating specific numbers. This is especially true for startups creating new markets and innovations. I am glad to help with new technological projects in this difficult subject."
Archipelago 2121 is intended for those who develop projects in the field of new technologies. The organizers announce that 5000 individual participants, 1000 teams, 850 representatives of regions, cities and universities, more than 100 industrial customers and 100 leading experts will participate in the 2121 Archipelago.
Topics of the event: logistics of things, people and ideas; life-changing technological solutions; the future of science cities and familiar educational institutions (school, university, corporation) - how can we use technology to make the social sphere more humane?
Now the so-called "zero" online stage of the event, Pre-accelerator, is underway. It will run until July 21 and is designed to find like-minded people, build teams, and develop the skills needed to launch startups. The face-to-face stage will take place in Veliky Novgorod from July 21 to August 10, and the top 100 teams that have shown themselves the best in the preparatory phase will get there.
The organizers of the Archipelago 2121 are the University at 20.35, NTI Platform, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation in partnership with educational and scientific organizations.
