Arina Time, a fourth-year student of Bachelor in Management program at the Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), won the first A.L. Stieglitz scholarship, organized by a member of GSOM Advisory Board Russian Railways.
21 students from 11 Russian universities took part in the competition for the scholarship: nine participants were from transport universities, as well as SPbSEU and GSOM SPbU. Only 11 applicants were selected, one of them was from the Business School.
“I submitted an application without any special expectations, so for me this result is, first of all, evidence that sometimes it’s just worth trying. The scholarship is great, but understanding is much more important: if everything has worked out, then I can do a little more than I expected. And if so, why not try something that seemed unreal before”.
