The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) was shortlisted for the international communications PROBA Awards with the Management of the Future project in the University nomination.
The Management of the Future conference, created and annually organized by GSOM SPbU students, over the nine years of its existence, has been established as an important career event for future managers. In 2021, it took place on April 1-3 in an online format. According to the results of three stages of selection, 200 best Russian-speaking students, representing 44 universities from 19 cities of Russia and 8 countries of the world, took part in the conference from 2.5 thousand applicants. Among them there are students in the areas of economics and finance, management, exact, natural, humanities and IT.
In addition to GSOM SPbU, projects of SPbU, Saint Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design and Moscow State Institute of Culture were presented in the “University” nomination of the PROBA Awards. The winner was the team from St. Petersburg University with a project on ecology.
The Proba Award was established in 2000. It annually recognizes the best professionals in the communications industry, agencies and projects. Along with the Cannes Lions, the Global SABER Awards and the Gold Quill Awards, the international Proba Awards are included in the National Rating of Communication Companies with the highest gradation (class "A").
The jury of the award conducts a competitive selection of applications and determines the finalists in 13 different nominations. The award ceremony is included in the official program of the International Baltic Weekend Communications Forum and is held every September in St. Petersburg.
