On September 16, at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), a series of webinars on Finance Essentials: Finance Fundamentals for the "Technologies" block of the X5 Group company was completed.
“The creation of a portfolio of flexible online programs for line managers is an important step in the implementation of the development strategy of GSOM SPbU. Pilot webinars will help you better understand market expectations before we offer a full-fledged program,” said Leonid Vasilyev, Director, MBA and Executive Education Program.
A series of webinars, and subsequently the Finance Essentials: Finance Fundamentals program, are intended for line managers, Heads of Departments without specialized financial and economic education. The goal is to teach students to understand and make management decisions based on financial data.
“All employees of the corporation, including IT, lawyers, HR, logisticians and marketers, must understand how their activities affect the financial results of the company. Our approach is designed for non-financial leaders: the theory is told in an understandable language, which is then reinforced through real examples of our listeners," said Alexander Apollonov, author of webinars and teacher of the Master in Corporate Finance (MCF) program.
For corporate partners, the Finance Essentials: Finance Fundamentals for Beginning Leaders program will be available in early 2022.
The GSOM SPbU Center for Executive Education Programs for Heads has existed since 2003.
