GSOM SPbU teachers held a workshop on the topic “Professions of the future: what to learn to succeed in 2030” for the participants of the international financial security Olympiad at the Sirius educational center (Sochi). The event brought together 106 schoolchildren and 334 students from different regions of Russia.

Anastasia Laskovaya, Associate Professor, Academic Director of the Bachelor in Management program at GSOM SPbU, and Zarina Kholdorbekova, Assistant Academic Director, organized a workshop in the format of a game based on the book Atlas of New Professions 3.0. Students and school children actively discussed, got acquainted with the competencies and professions of the future, trained negotiation skills, teamwork and work in conditions of uncertainty.

The Olympiad is supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Its goal is to increase information, financial and legal literacy of children and youth, vocational guidance and development of scientific knowledge in the field of financial security.
