Rosneft, a business partner of Saint-Petersburg University (SPBU), opens up a registration on the case championship which will be held on the 30th of October, 2021. Only Bachelor programs students of the 3rd and the 4th years and Masters programs students of the 2nd year who are currently studying in the Graduate School of Management SPBU and in Institute of Earth Sciences SPBU can enroll. Participants of the championship will be able to apply for 15 targeted scholarships.

The case championship is being held as part of the Days of “Rosneft” — a proforientational and image-building event during which students can acknowledge the activities of the Russian company-leader in the oil industry and the biggest public oil and gas corporation in the world.

There will be only 30 students who will have a chance to participate. They will be combined in 10 cross-functional teams and will be working on an interesting task, critically evaluating input data and finding unconventional solutions to the case.

The participants will have a meeting with the experts of the industry and they will be able to develop their knowledge about the industry during the championship. Feedback from the expert panel and bonuses from the Rosneft company are guaranteed. 

The registration will be continuing until the 13th of October. For the successful application students need to fill the standard form outlining their GPA and complete a small task which consists of 8 questions devoted to the story of the company. Information given on the official website of the company NK Rosneft will be enough to answer the questions correctly. Applications will be collected from the 14th to the 18th of October.

On the 20th of October participants will be randomly formed into teams and get input information about the case on which they will be working. On the 30th of October the participants will be defending their solutions in front of the members of the Commission.

The event will take place on the Michailovskaya Dacha campus (St. Petersburg shosse, 109).
