Senior appraisal projects of Graduate School of Management Saint Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU)`s program “Healthcare Management” were presented by 22 chiefs of healthcare organizations from 5 diffrents regions of Russia.

The procession occured on the 1st of October, 2021. Credential resulting appraisal commission greatly emphasized the high level of presented projects.

Olesya Rubanova`s project called “Organization of the department of early intervention (early assistance) on the base of St. Petersburg Public Health Center №63 (academic adviser –  medical PhD Oleg Kulikov) applied for the contest “Best senior project of the Presidential program – Saint-Petersburg 2021”. This social significant appraisal project aims for increasing access to complex assistance for children of a young age in order to minimize their health state`s deviations and prevent the development of disability.

The Commission also pointed out that Anton Globin demonstrated profound possession of strategic analysis instruments in his work “Establishment of cosmetology department in LLC “American Medical Clinic” (academic adviser –  economical PhD Olga Verkhovskaya). Roman Kornelyuk got special attention from the Commision with his project “Cardiology population assistance during COVID-19”(academic adviser –  medical PhD Julia Lobanova) with his attempt to improve application methods of value chain with medical assistance.

The GSOM SPBU program “Healthcare Management” is the only domestic educational program which has international certification approved by declared world leaders in this sphere.

Professors who direct the leading public and private organizations of Saint-Petersburg are involved in this program as well as best lecturers and professors of SPbU itself. Educational process is based on modern pedagogical techniques: authorial cases, training, business visits (including foreign clinics) and so on.

Realization of the program relies on the high level of integration of education, science, business and government. Actually in this study years results of value chain surveys which have been held in SPbU with the help of some St. Petersburg clinics were implemented into the educational process and used during the development of 4 appraisal projects of the audience.

Currently recruiting for the program “Healthcare Management” is almost done, the studying will begin on the 22th of November, 2021. Chiefs of public and private clinics, production and sales organizations of medication and medical equipment, and directors of medical insurance organizations and educational establishments are going to participate in this program as listeners as well.
