Ksenia Kolesnikova, Head of Alumni Relation Department at the Graduate School of Management Department at St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), took part in an online meeting of Heads of Alumni Relation of universities — members of CEMS Global Alliance in Management Education.
The participants discussed a number of practical issues related to mentoring programs at universities and platforms for their implementation, the development of regional representations of alumni communities.
Ksenia Kolesnikova spoke about the launch of the GSOM Ambassadors project and shared with her colleagues the experience of creating communities in Germany, Great Britain and the Asian region.
"A lot of our alumni successfully build their career abroad and have already become a part of a new society. However, the connection with the school stays essential for them because they want to communicate with other alumni and students as to people sharing the same experience, cultural identity and general mindset".
