Yulia Aray, Associate Professor, Academic Director of the Master in Management Program, Coordinator of Social Entrepreneurship Projects at the Center for Corporate Social Responsibility of Graduate School of Management of Saint Petersburg University took part in the round table "ESG: Three Letters That Changing Business", organized by the Committee for Marketing and Communications of the St. Petersburg International Business Association (SPIBA). The expert made a presentation “ESG — what is behind the abbreviation?”.

Yulia Aray spoke in detail about ESG — three parameters according to which companies ensure sustainable development management. Environmental, Social, Governance (the environment, social aspects and corporate governance) are first of all taken into account by responsible investors when making investment decisions.

“The ESG agenda is a relatively new topic for Russian business, however, as an element of a more general trend in the development of corporate social responsibility, of course, it is understandable and expected. GSOM SPbU with its CSR Center constantly increases its expertise in this area, conducts its own research and implements this topic in the taught courses at all levels of education. We are ready to share knowledge, analytics of the world's best practices, research results in the ESG direction in order to contribute to the formation of a common agenda, help companies and other stakeholders to comply with modern trends and find effective and promising solutions,” said Yulia Aray.
