Students from all over the world enrolled in Master in Management Program of the Global CEMS Alliance can register for 3 elective courses offered by Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) in the online format, regardless of which business school of the Alliance they study at.

Luxury Market, Social Entrepreneurship and Managing Intellectual Capital for Business Value Creation courses are conducted by GSOM SPbU experts recognized by the business community in their areas. Registration to these courses is held via the Global CEMS office: students can get enrolled into any course offered by partner universities within CEMS Global Electives initiative by submitting the application with indicated priorities. Global Elective courses offered by GSOM are taught by Yulia Aray, Center for CSR at GSOM SPbU, consultant on social entrepreneurship (Social Entrepreneurship course), Mustafa Deniz Dalman, Associate Professor at GSOM SPbU Marketing Department (Luxury Market course) and Giovanni Schiuma, Director of the Innovation Insights Hub at University of the Arts London, GSOM Guest Lecturer (Managing Intellectual Capital for Business Value Creation).
In 2021, GSOM Master in Management took 25th position in the FT international ranking of the best business schools in the world, which was another recognition of the high quality of its education. CEMS is The Global Alliance of 34 leading business schools, 70 top companies and eight partner non-profit organizations that together provide students with the CEMS Master's Degree in International Management (CEMS MIM). CEMS MIM program lasts for a year and provides an opportunity for students to study in a multicultural environment around the world. GSOM SPbU has been a member of the Global Alliance since 2008.
