The Health Care Management program consists of six weekly in-class training modules with distance learning in between. 27 Heads of public and private healthcare organizations, representing five regions of Russia — St. Petersburg, Altai Republic, Vologda, Leningrad and Sverdlovsk regions have begun their studies. Among them are Head Physicians of public and private healthcare organizations (Kich-Gorodetskaya and Sokolskaya Central Regional Hospitals, the St. Petersburg City Disinfection Unit, Institute of Vertebrology LLC, Renklinik LLC), along with the heads of other organizations in the healthcare cluster, for example deputy chief physicians and the heads of other units.
The program will last eight months and will end in June 2022.
The Management in Healthcare Program is a project-oriented professional further education program, the purpose of which is to strengthen modern managerial thinking among the heads of healthcare organizations, including the ability to strategically plan the activities of their organizations or structural divisions). In the learning process, students use the acquired knowledge and skills to develop and implement projects related to the development of the organizations they represent or to improve the efficiency of regional health systems.
