On December 10, 2019, a GSOM SPbU Advisory Board meeting was held. Members of the Advisory Board decided to update the development strategy of the School until 2025.

Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University, Sergey Ivanov, opened the meeting and noted the current achievements of the School in key areas. “This year, GSOM SPbU has reached new milestones in its development — the number of applications for Bachelor program increased by 10%, and for the Master program — 40%. And the average exam score for the Management program reached 92 points — on this program, this is the third position in the country among other universities... GSOM SPbU has international recognition — it is still the only one represetative of Russia in the prestigious Financial Times and The Economist Which MBA? rankings”, said Sergey Ivanov.
At the same time, the Advisory Board members noted the need to update the strategy for the further development of the School, taking into account the trends that have emerged in the labor market in recent years, in management, economics and technology.
«Education around the world faces a number of big challenges, and GSOM is no exception. New professions are dying and appearing. Many people have to retrain and retrain due to shifts in existing professions. Existing realities call for lifelong education. GSOM should provide such an opportunity», said Olga Dergunova, Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank, Director of the Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University.
At the same time, one of the most important projects at GSOM SPbU will be the further development of the “Mikhailovskaya Dacha” campus. In 2020, it is planned to open dormitory for 550 Bachelor students, and by 2021 — the launch of other infrastructure facilities designed to provide a comfortable environment for living, working, learning and creating managerial innovations.

Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University was founded in 1993. A complete portfolio of programs has been created at GSOM SPbU: from Bachelor, Master and postgraduate programs to programs for executives, MBA, EMBA and a variety of corporate programs. The Advisory Board of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University has been functioning since 1993. Among the members of the Advisory Board there are Heads of 20 companies — leaders of Russian and international business: Bank VTB (PJSC), PJSC Gazprom, PAO Severstal, OJSC Rusnano, AFK Sistema, OJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel, Procter & Gamble, L'Oreal, Gazprombank JSC, Citibank CB JSC and others.
