The Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation noted the contribution of Associate Professor, Director of the Center for Corporate Social Responsibility of Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) Yury Blagov to developing corporate volunteering in Russia.
The award ceremony took place on December 17, 2021, in Moscow at the final meeting of the National Council for Corporate Volunteering (NCCV) with the topic "New opportunities for the development of individual corporate volunteering: interaction between business and NPOs".
GSOM SPbU was one of the first in Russia to introduce ESG principles into research, educational, and everyday life. The next step was creating an educational product that concentrates on the basic principles of the approach. In partnership with VTB, the Business School developed and implemented the ESG course in Finance. From September 2022, the Sustainable Finance discipline will become an essential part of the Master in Corporate Finance (MCF) curriculum, GSOM SPbU.
The Letters of Gratitude from the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation for the contribution to the development of corporate volunteering were also received by: Irina Efremova-Garth, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, IBM in Russia and CIS countries; Oksana Belaichuk, Head of Sustainable Development Programs, McDonald's in Russia; Asya Wildt, Head of Direction, Department of Social and Environmental Responsibility, Leroy Merlin Vostok; Ekaterina Levshina, Member of the Management Board, BF Amway "Responsible for the Future", Head of the program "Mom Entrepreneur"; Ekaterina Pluzhnik, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, Rosbank; Tatiana Endeko, Head of Internal Communications, Social and Media Projects, GAZ Group.
