The results of the pilot stream of the "Humanitarium" project, aimed at identifying young talented leaders in the field of culture, art and creative industries, have been ended. The project was implemented by the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), the Academy of Talents and the National Library of Russia.
Participants were high school students from St. Petersburg schools, they presented their projects in the final. According to the organizers, they turned out to be very diverse, interesting and creative: a photo exhibition, a podcast, a theatrical performance, a short film and other formats. The authors of the best projects will receive certificates from the National Library of Russia for targeted admission to St. Petersburg universities.
“During the project, high school students visited the Mikhailovskaya Dacha campus of GSOM SPbU and participated in a project management training. Therefore, it is especially pleasant to note that the finalists presented their projects, already following the logic of project management: they talked about the problem they are solving, about the goal of the project, existing analogues, about the necessary resources. Some participants have already presented prototypes of their projects, for example, a linguistic game about English words in Russian language and an interactive comic".

The honor to open the first season of "Humanitarium" was given to the most talented high school students of St Petersburg students of the Academy of Talents of St. Petersburg. These are the winners of city and federal Olympiads and competitions. Lectures, excursion and career guidance classes, laboratories and creative meetings were held by well-known figures of culture and science.
Thanks to the participation of the Russian National Library, a research, educational and cultural center of world significance, St. Petersburg high school children have a unique opportunity to touch the rarities of Russian and world culture, immerse themselves in the history of printing, learn the professional secrets of preserving, restoring and popularizing the national heritage.
The implementation of the Concept for the Development of Creative Industries in the Russian Federation entails the transformation of the existing creative education. Educational activities are integrated into the creative cluster. As an alternative to the creation of educational products and educational practice in traditional educational programs, "Humanitarium" plans to involve tutors in the development of youth projects, who identify the real socio-economic value of projects and promote them to the creative industries market.
