Freddie the Owl, the mascot of the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU), has returned to the care of the Business School.

   

Freddie is a real polar owl. He was born on May 1, 1994 in the endangered species breeding center in England, and in 2013 he finally settled in the Leningrad Zoo, where Mirra, his mate,  was already waiting for him. The couple Freddie and Mirra have delighted the staff and visitors of the zoo with their offspring every year since then.

  

  

The Business School and the St. Petersburg State University Alumni Association have launched a fundraising campaign to support the GSOM mascot.
