Students of the joint program "Executive MBA - Strategic Management and Leadership" of the Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) and the Graduate School of Business of Almaty Management University (GSB AlmaU) take an in-house module in St Petersburg.
The "Executive MBA - Strategic Management and Leadership" program is designed for managers and owners of companies who want to reach a new level of managerial decision-making. Its uniqueness lies in the combination of the experience of implementing Executive MBA programs of business schools in Russia and Kazakhstan. The program will end in September 2023. Based on the results of the training, students will receive two diplomas: St. Petersburg University and AlmaU.
Two groups will study human resource management and digital transformation of the company, strategic management, personal brand and personal development of the leader, and will take part in a business game to make managerial decisions.
32 students arrived at GSOM SPbU, representing industries such as drilling and petrochemistry, mining, IT and telecom, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, construction and real estate. Average management experience is six years.
In 2021, the program took the 22nd position among the joint programs of the international QS Executive MBA Rankings 2021 (Joint Programs). The educational product of the two leading business schools of the CIS countries was included in the QS ranking for the first time.
