The work of a Doctoral student of the Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) Mahmud Salekh was noted by the experts of the Academy of International Business (AIB).

The Doctoral student received a scholarship to participate in the 2022 AIB Annual Conference in Miami, supervised by Associate Professor Karina Bogatyreva.

Mahmud's research is devoted to the study of the role of social responsibility of tourist facilities (hotels, resorts, etc.) in the formation of loyalty and a positive attitude of tourists. The focus on the tourism industry is relevant as it is one of the hardest hit during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the results obtained, an article is being prepared for submission to the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS) Journal Quality List.
