The students of SPbU and 12 higher education institutions of Saint Petersburg, Leningrad Region and Donetsk have made the first steps in setting up their own business. Russian society Znanie, a University’s partner, held the V Dele! forum at Mikhailovskaya Dacha campus.
In his welcome speech Arseniy Mayorov, Deputy General Director of Russian society Znanie, highlighted that the forum was chiefly dedicated to ideas formed by beginner, experienced or future entrepreneurs.
One-day intensive course included talks on the information technology market. At the practical sessions students together with the experts reflected on the choice of the project idea, discussed the ways of finding investors and explored marketing tools for business promotion.The workshops were aimed at training the skills of building a financial model in a short time frame and presenting the project in 60 seconds. The headliner of the day was a Znanie Talk lecture How to Build a Business in a Period of Uncertainty.
V Dele! is a series of educational events by Russian society Znanie aimed to help thousands of students and young prospective entrepreneurs find their way, get inspired by successful cases and develop their soft skills.The events are held both online and offline from April to November 2022 in 48 subjects of the Russian Federation.
In 2021, within the framework of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, SPbU and Russian society Znanie signed a collaboration agreement. Previously the University has already been a venue for events held by Znanie society.
