Vladivostok, the capital of the Primorsky Territory, hosted a unique two-day educational program “Social Entrepreneurship: Mechanisms for Forming the Sustainability of the Social and Economic Development of a Municipality” for employees of municipal authorities. The lecturers and trainers for civil servants were Yulia Aray, Academic Director of the Master in Management program of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), and Denis Bogatov, Director of the Center for the Development of Social Entrepreneurship of the International School of Business of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation .
An event with federal experts for local authorities was held for the first time in Russia. 58 municipal employees from 33 municipalities studied the basics of social entrepreneurship in theory and practice — active businessmen of Primorye presented their projects to the participants. Positive feedback from listeners gives a start to scaling the educational program to other regions of Russia.
