June 28 is the International Day of Social Business. On this day the School of Social Entrepreneurship was launched, organized by the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) with the support of JTI and the Our Future Foundation for Regional Social Programs.

For many years, GSOM SPbU has been teaching both students and social entrepreneurs. Today, for the first time, the School of Social Entrepreneurship has brought them together in one project.

Participants will have four days of lecturers and practice. Leading lecturers from GSOM SPbU and representatives of the expert community will share the theoretical basis and best practices with them. 29 students of various specialties from Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg, Cherepovets and St. Petersburg and six social enterprises will look for solutions to problems in various areas, including the employment of people with disabilities, non-waste sewing production, and servicing the elderly. On July 1, the joint teams will present the results of their work to the experts.
