On October 7, at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), as part of the Emerging Markets 2022 Conference, a round table “Entrepreneurship in Russia: 15 years of research” will be held.
GSOM SPbU researchers will present the results of the project "Global Entrepreneurship Monitoring" in Russia (GEM). Will the trend of the last decade to increase the number of entrepreneurial firms continue? How is the behavior of entrepreneurs changing now? Implementation of socially oriented practices: tribute to fashion or strategic behavior of entrepreneurs? Can entrepreneurship training help overcome today's challenges? These and other questions will be discussed by the participants of the event: GSOM SPbU experts and business community representatives.
"Entrepreneurship has repeatedly proved its viability in times of crisis. During such periods, the value of private business especially increases. The task of the round table is to identify trends in the development of entrepreneurship and determine what can positively influence entrepreneurial activity at the present time,"
Olga Verkhovskaya, Head of the GEM project, Associate Professor of the Department of Strategic and International Management at GSOM SPbU.
