Yuriy Blagov, Director of the Center for Corporate Social Responsibility, Olga Alkanova, Head of the Teaching Excellence Lab in Business Education and Zhanna Khomyakova, Head of the Department of Educational Initiative Analysis and Coordination, Risk Coordinator at VTB Bank, a strategic partner of the Graduate School of Management of Saint Petersburg University, became experts of the Federal Educational and Methodological Association in Higher Education for the integrated group of programs 38.00.00 "Economics and Management".
Yuriy Blagov and Zhanna Khomyakova became members of the task group "Integration of Sustainable Development Issues in the Main Academic Programs". Olga Akanova became a member of the task group "Hybrid Format Teaching Methods".
GSOM SPbU professors regularly take part in FEMA events and share the up-to-date expertise and the Business School's research with other universities.
For example, at the meeting of FEMA in Higher Education that took place in Kazan in October, Olga Alkanova, Head of the Teaching Excellence Lab in Business Education of GSOM SPbU and Natalia Strikun, Head of the Laboratory of Education Policy Research at MCU presented their joint report on the potential for hybrid learning development in the Russian higher education system.
The Teaching Excellence Lab in Business Education of GSOM SPbU develops methods of teaching in a digital environment. The hybrid classroom equipment method elaborated by GSOM SPbU with the support of VTB Bank will be adopted by the Far Eastern Federal University and VTB Bank.
Federal Educational and Methodological Association in Higher Education for the integrated group of programs 38.00.00 "Economics and Management" develops suggestions for the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation on draft federal state education standards, involves specialists in the development of such standards and assesses the quality of educational programs.
