Positive Changes popular science journal published an article by Yulia Aray, Associate Professor at the Department of Strategic and International Management and Academic Director for Master in Management (MiM) program.
"Stability in the Unstable: How Social Enterprises Survive and Adapt in the VUCA World" is based on the study conducted by the Graduate School of Management of SPbU and Impact Hub Moscow social innovation support center together with the University of Massachusetts during the pandemic. Both commercial and nonprofit social enterprises took part in the survey.
According to the study, the most popular and successful strategies of social entrepreneurs in the pandemic were aimed at improving efficiency, existing products and professional competencies of the team, as well as optimizing business processes. It was found that many social entrepreneurs have been able to maintain their positions on most critical factors, and some have even improved their performance.
