The Academic Council of Saint Petersburg University voted by secret ballot to approve Associate Professor Anastasia Golubeva as Head of the Department of Public Administration of SPbU.
Anastasia Golubeva has been teaching at the Business School since 2002. Her research interests include public sector innovations, electronic government concept, electronic public services, participation of citizens in public administration, territory development management.
The expert was engaged in the development of methods to prevent supplier collusion during electronic government procurement process in the sphere of healthcare, managed such research projects as "New Instruments for Business and State Interaction: Electronic Government", "Development of Interactive Electronic Government Services in the North-West of Russia" and many other projects.
Today Anastasia Golubeva, as the academic director of GSOM SPbU Bachelor of Public Administration Program, is working on the method of monitoring and assessment of smart and sustainable city development: "Together with the students, we analyze how citizens, business and state interact with each other for the purposes of territory development, enhance the methods of monitoring and benchmarking. Smart sustainable territories is a very promising issue, and we continue to work on it".
GSOM SPbU Bachelor of Public Administration Program prepares professionals in the area of government and business cooperation, public enterprise executives, and managers for the public sector. The graduates have all the necessary competences for rapid career growth in government bodies and private companies, as well as for entering master programs at the leading international universities. Competition for the program is one of the highest at the university. In 2022, it amounted to more than 91 people per state-funded place, the average score of the unified state exam of enrolled students was 92.9 points, which is higher than the average for St. Petersburg (77.4).
