Head of the Department of Information Technologies in Management of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), Professor Tatyana Gavrilova received an honorary badge "For contribution to the development of the Russian Association of Artificial Intelligence". The award ceremony took place at the All-Russian Conference "Pospel Readings: Artificial Intelligence - Problems and Prospects".
This year, the traditional event of the Russian Association of Artificial Intelligence (RAAI) was held in the year of the 90th anniversary of the birth of the famous cybernetics Dmitry Pospelov. The works presented this year demonstrated the development of the scientist's ideas and the formation of new directions in the field of artificial intelligence. GSOM SPbU professor Tatyana Gavrilova spoke at the event with a report “D.A. Pospelov and a multidisciplinary approach to artificial intelligence".
From 1988 to the present, Tatyana Gavrilova has been the head of the St. Petersburg branch of the RAAI and is a member of the Academic Council of the organization, a member of the Fulbright Alumni Association, International Association for Knowledge Management; Association for the Computing Machinery; Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers; expert of RFBR and RSF.
Tatyana Gavrilova is the author of more than 200 research publications, six monographs published in Russia and abroad, the author of the first Russian textbook on knowledge engineering. Honored Educator, laureate of Information Theories and Applications, SPIBA Awards Ceremony 2016, "Transformation", Association of Specialists and Experts of Knowledge Management "KM-ALLIANCE".
