On May 30th, the Graduate School of Management at Saint Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) held the second meeting of the Council for the professional retraining program "Master of Business Administration" (MBA).

Members of the working groups in the directions of "Internationalization," "Faculty Development," and "Import Substitution" reported on the results of their work for the first half of 2023. During the meeting, tasks were identified for further improvement of additional professional education programs. Among the priority projects is strengthening cooperation with universities in the People's Republic of China, including the development of joint educational programs and the promotion of academic mobility for faculty and participants. Two other important areas of work are organizing academic internships for faculty in companies represented by the CEP members and incorporating the topic of import substitution into MBA/EMBA-level programs.

The MBA Program Council at GSOM SPbU includes representatives from organizations such as VTB, Gazprom International Limited, "Melling, Voitishkin & Partners," "Injenico," "Agreko Eurasia," "UnionPay," the Foundation for Entrepreneurship and Industry Support of the Leningrad Region, the Department of Trade Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and others.
