In 2021, the Master in Corporate Finance (MCF) program received accreditation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), an international association of certified financial professionals. In 2023, representatives from the association confirmed the partnership and the agreement will be in effect until 2028.

ACCA is an international association of professionals in the field of finance and accounting, which awards a highly demanded qualification recognized by employers worldwide. Students who enroll in the "Master in Corporate Finance (MCF)" program, if they successfully complete the curriculum, will receive official exemptions from nine ACCA certificate subjects. The first alumni who can take advantage of this benefit will be in 2023.

On the ACCA website, GSOM SPbU MCF program is listed among the accredited programs with the maximum number of disciplines for which exemptions from exams are provided:

• Financial Accounting and Reporting -> Financial Reporting (FR)
• Corporate Finance -> Financial Management (FM)
• Taxation in Russia -> Taxation (TX)
• Performance Management and Decision Making -> Performance Management (PM)
• Corporate Law in Russia -> Corporate Law (LW)
• Audit and Assurance -> Audit and Assurance (AA)

The following subjects are not included in the curriculum but are automatically recognized for all MCF alumni:

• Business and Technology (AB)
• Management Accounting (MA)
• Financial Accounting (FA)

In addition, the MCF curriculum includes:

• Advanced Corporate Finance -> Advanced Financial Management (AFM)
• Advanced Performance Management -> Advanced Performance Management (APM)
• Ethics and Professional Conduct - > Ethics and Professional Skills Module

The course instructors are practitioners with at least 15 years of experience in finance and confirmed qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CFA, and FRM, working both in Russia and abroad.

To be exempt from nine ACCA qualification exams, you need to:

• Register as a candidate on the ACCA website by June 30, 2023, with a mailing address outside of Russia, attach a copy of your passport, a confirmation letter from ACCA to MCF about the discount on fees, and pay the registration fee.
• Obtain a Master in Corporate Finance Degree at GSOM SPbU.
• Within the next 12 months, continue to fill out the ACCA registration form, indicating the exams for which you want to be exempt and attaching a copy of your MCF Master program diploma.

Missing exams can be taken online from home using a special platform or in neighboring countries such as Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Uzbekistan. For example, in Kazakhstan, there are three exam centers in Almaty, Astana, and Atyrau, and in Armenia and Uzbekistan, such centers are located in Yerevan and Tashkent.
