Gazprom Neft and the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University together launched the School of Teachers educational program in five cities: Ufa, Omsk, Tomsk, Tyumen and St. Petersburg. About 600 people will be trained including teachers from 11 partner universities of the company and internal trainers. The project is aimed at improving the efficiency of joint educational projects and developing the Gazprom Neft corporate training system.
The uniqueness of the program lies in the creation of a unified environment for training specialists and the introduction of common methodological standards. As a result, the terms for developing and coordinating the company's educational projects will be reduced including joint master's programs, advanced training and professional retraining programs. The School of Teachers will also help strengthen horizontal ties between Gazprom Neft's internal trainers and teachers from partner universities and colleges and form a common understanding of current business needs and challenges in the education sector.
The "School of Teachers" includes three areas: "Fundamentals of Designing Educational Programs", "Best Teaching Practices" and "Gazprom Neft Approaches to the Development of Educational Programs Together with Universities". Alumni will receive state certificates of advanced training. A series of events celebrating the Year of the Educator and Mentor will also include "Internal Trainers, Educators and Mentors Campus" and "Learning Environment" forum.
