The achievements of the Business School receive well-deserved recognition from professionals once again. The expert community EDinity Webinar noted the innovation of digital services of GSOM SPbU.

The award ceremony took place at the interuniversity conference Edinstvo Webinar, which was attended by representatives of GSOM SPbU, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, KFU, Sechenov University, VAVT, MIP and other leading Russian universities. Experts discussed the key areas of digitalization of communications in higher education. In particular, hybrid learning is the main global trend in the transformation of education.

At the event, Yuri Ekimov, IT Director at GSOM SPbU, made a report on the experience of using Webinar solutions in hybrid classrooms at GSOM SPbU, as an example of import substitution in the ecosystem of services for business communications and MS Teams collaboration.

 

“As part of the development strategy of GSOM SPbU, our team equipped hybrid classrooms for simultaneous training of online and offline students.

Designing hybrid classrooms has proven to be a challenge. It was important for us that the solution was fully consistent with our teaching methodology. In partnership with leading technology companies, we managed to achieve the desired result — to create a convenient and effective IT architecture for hybrid learning. Now we are willing to share insights with colleagues, in particular, we teach how to teach in the digital environment,” noted Yuri Ekimov in a comment to the NEP portal - scientific and educational policy.
