The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University has once again confirmed its status as a leader in international business education. According to the results of the rating of the International expert agency EdUniversal, GSOM SPbU became the second strongest business school in Eastern Europe.
GSOM SPbU is the holder of the highest status, 5 palms of championship EdUniversal is a universal business school with global international influence.
“Palms” (palmes) demonstrate the level of international reputation of an educational institution: local (1 palm), regional (2 palms), beyond the region (3 palms), significant international influence (4 palms) and strong international influence (5 palms).
The leadership of GSOM SPbU in the EdUniversal ranking is an indicator of the recognition of the business school by the international academic community.

Every year, the EdUniversal Awards ceremony honors the TOP 3 business schools from 9 geographical areas of the world: Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Eurasia and the Middle East, North America, etc. In total, 1,000 business schools from 154 countries undergo official selection. The level of a business school is determined on the basis of internationalization criteria developed by the International Academic Committee. A key step in the ranking process is the vote of the deans of the world's best business schools.
Internationalization criteria take into account:
1. accreditations received (AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA, etc.),
2. major ratings (Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, etc.),
3. participation in international academic associations (EMBA, AAPBS, etc.),
4. network of partners of deans and business schools at the international and local levels, etc.
