The Center for Research on Market Efficiency and Applied Finance at GSOM SPbU, together with experts from the Department of Reporting and Financial Data of VTB Bank, launched the School of Reporting and Financial Data.

The first stream of the School started on November 13, 2023 on the VTB Education online platform with a webinar by Oksana Kuklina, Master in Corporate Finance (MCF) teacher-practitioner, on the conceptual foundations of IFRS.

“From the very first day, the School of Reporting and Financial Data acquired international status: participants joined us not only from all over Russia, but also from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan - more than 500 participants registered on the platform,” noted Valeria Andrusenko, a member of the program, at the opening of the program Council of the educational program "Corporate Finance".

The first stream will last 5 weeks and will cover 5 applied problems of a financier:

• Conceptual framework of IFRS
• Intangible Assets: Research and Development
• Control concept
• Business acquisition (consolidation)
• Associates and joint ventures

Within the framework of each topic, participants will learn theoretical material, practical webinars from practical professors of the master's degree program "Corporate Finance" Maria Rybakova and Oksana Kuklina, as well as master classes from experts from the Department of Reporting and Financial Data of VTB Bank on banking specifics.
