At the solemn celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Kommersant newspaper in St. Petersburg, the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University was awarded the “For Long-Term Partnership” award.
The symbol of the award, the “Solid Sign” figurine, was presented to Olga Dergunova, director of the GSOM SPbU, deputy president and chairman of the board of VTB Bank.
In turn, Olga Dergunova congratulated the staff of the business publication:
"Dear friends! Please accept our most sincere congratulations on the 30th anniversary of the Kommersant newspaper!
In 1993, large-scale tectonic changes in our country required new approaches in journalism — and the response to this challenge was the creation of the first private business publication. The Kommersant team has set the highest professional bar in analytics and news. For three decades now, the pages of the publication have been a mirror of the era, reflecting the most important events, opinions and point of view of famous figures of modern Russia.
Let me congratulate the Kommersant team on behalf of two communities at once: business and academic - from the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University and VTB Bank.
I would like to note that the Higher School of Management of St. Petersburg State University and Kommersant are united not only by “age”, but also by a common focus on developing a new generation of smart, educated and informed leaders.
We hope for further fruitful cooperation! We wish the Kommersant team creative success and leadership in business journalism.”
