For the second year in a row, GSOM SPbU has become the winner of the SMART Pyramid award. The Business School's Management Essentials: A Practical School of Management program was again recognized as the "Best Corporate Training Program."

 The award ceremony took place on December 13 at the VIII Russian Forum of Corporate Education “HR PRACTICE: Personnel Training and Development”. From GSOM SPbU, Ksenia Lavrinovich, the head of the training support department of the Center for online advanced vocational programs, and Irina Melnikova, a manager for the development of educational products at the Center for online advanced vocational programs, took the stage to receive the award.

Without the help of trustees and partners, success and recognition in the professional community would be impossible!” – noted Yulia Timofeeva, Director of the Center for Online Programs of Continuing Professional Education at GSOM SPbU.

 The program “Management Essentials: Practical School of Management” is an educational course at GSOM SPbU aimed at developing the management skills of beginners and potential managers, but can also be useful for experienced managers. The course helps to systematize management experience and teaches how to find innovative solutions to difficult situations. Business school teachers and successful top managers of large Russian and international companies share their experience with students.

 In 2021, the “Management Essentials: Practical School of Management” program won the “Smart Pyramid” award in the “Best Online Learning Program” category, and in 2022 received the Grand Prix of the award in the same category. The program was completed by employees of leading Russian companies: Gazprom, Etalon Group, Gazprom Mezhregiongaz, Rosneft, VTB Bank, VTB Leasing, Norilsk Nickel, TELE2, Lanit Group of Companies, as well as the Federal Tax Service of Russia.

 After successfully passing the final certification, alumni receive a certificate of advanced training from St. Petersburg State University.
