"Olympiad for the First" is a federal-scale intellectual championship for university students and alumni organized by GSOM SPbU and MegaFon. Registration of participants starts on February 1, 2024.

This is not only a competition among teams to develop a business solution, but also a unique educational course from experts in the field of management and telecommunications.

The theme of the 2024 Olympics will be the “Smart City” concept. Under the guidance of mentors from MegaFon, the teams will develop high-tech solutions using artificial intelligence.

Students of 3-4 years of a bachelor's degree, 1-2 years of a master's degree, 5th year of a specialist's degree and graduates of 2023 can take part. Directions: engineering, IT, Big Data, finance, marketing, economics or management.

Detailed information, conditions of participation and registration for the “Olympiad for the First”

For the first time, the “Olympiad for the First” was held at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University in 2023. More than a thousand participants from Kaliningrad to Khabarovsk submitted applications for participation. 102 participants from 47 Russian universities qualified for the semi-finals, and the 30 best participants became winners - they had the opportunity to undergo an internship at MegaFon and put their acquired knowledge and skills into practice.
